This year’s AAJA National election is shaping up to be an exciting one. Candidates are vying for President, Vice President for Broadcast and Treasurer. These volunteer positions are for two-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2013.
AAJA members can vote online by absentee ballot here, starting now until July 16. Here’s the election timeline:
- JUNE 1 TO JULY 16: Absentee-voting period. (Vote securely online)
- AUG. 1 TO 3: In-person voting period at the UNITY conference in Las Vegas
- AUG. 3: Announcement of Officers-elect at the UNITY conference in Las Vegas
Each of the candidates has posted a statement on AAJA’s website here. And don’t forget, the Asia chapter also submitted questions to the presidential candidates, Paul Cheung and Janet Cho.
