Fodor’s Travel is looking to refresh its pool of writers for its Beijing guidebook, which covers the entire city, from sightseeing to restaurants, with chapters devoted to Exploring (museums, etc.), Where to Eat, Where to Stay, Shopping, Arts and Nightlife, Best Side Trips, and Essential Information. If you are working in Beijing, or know any reporters/fact checkers who are currently stationed there, please be in touch. Please note that we hire journalists who have local expertise, i.e. most writers work in the specific country/region or live there at least part of the year. We’re looking to make assignments in the next few weeks with assignments due back in late November. Pay ranges from around US$500 to US$3,000, depending on assignment scope.
