It’s time to dust off your old DSLR or point-and-shoot and re-learn about photography. We are honored to have our very own member, freelance editorial photographer, Lawrence Luk give us a three-part photography workshop.
In part one of our workshop on October 26, Lawrence will go over basic shooting techniques and settings on your camera. In part two, we will take photos of our own neighborhood and narrow them to our three best shots; In part three, we will regroup on November 3 to look at everyone’s photos during which Lawrence will critique them. We’ll also learn tips about the importance of editing and an introduction to digital archiving using Lightroom.
When: Friday, October 26 and Friday, November 2, 6pm – 8pm
Place: Time Warner, Quarry Bay, 979 King’s Road, 30F
RSVP: E-mail Ramy Inocencio and Wendy Tang at aajahk@gmail.com by Wednesday October 24
Details:
- Part 1, Basic Shooting Techniques, Friday, October 26, 7-9pm
- Part 2, Taking Photos, on your own
