The Network of Korean-American Leaders (NetKAL) will be hosting an all-day summit on October 11. One of our AAJA members, Jean Lee of the AP, will be speaking at one of the panels!
On October 12, the conference is having Happy hour at the Seoul Foreign Correspondents Club. This will likely be the event that will be most interesting to you as AAJAers. You’ll have a chance to meet a group of Korean-American leaders in various industries who will be in town to meet with their Korean counterparts in government, business, culture and entertainment. These leaders are keen to meet you all as local journalists.
UPDATE: The happy hour will be Friday from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the SFCC near City Hall Station. Paid AAJA members are also invited to a wrap-up dinner for the NetKAL Seoul Summit with Korea Economic Institute. Dinner will start at 7:30 p.m. and be held one floor down from the SFCC.
| The NetKAL Seoul Summit is a one-day, invitation only conference with a gathering of the nation’s most prominent Korean-American leaders, featuring distinguished leaders from all industries. This year, we will also be joined by our Korean counterparts. |
